A few years ago I worked to become an EMT. During my time working in the ER and riding along on ambulances, I learned about MRSA. If you have never heard about it, it is one of the most resistant bacterias out there. It’s truly terrible.
Small is large and large is small.
What motivates us to teach?
There are countless parallels that can be made to teaching that I’ve learned from climbing.
Perhaps harder to define and recognize than physical, mental and emotional strength is spiritual strength. Are you afraid of the unknown, the amorphous or the mystical? Talking about spirituality is full unknowns and requires courage to face. This much is true though, either define your spirituality or you have none.
Emotional strength for me was more elusive than physical or mental strength. It was hard to put my finger on what exactly emotions were.
